“We have a house on a steep hill supported by stilts that was in need of new decking. However, the supporting joists looked iffy, and when the engineer came out, the need became one for restructuring of the house supports. We faced a problem, though: the plans called for glue-lams and steel columns that weighed over a half ton each.  On our small street/easement, we could not use the heavy equipment that would be required.  Jeff looked at it, and improvised a way to move these materials down the hill, and into place without heavy equipment.  We then elected to metamorphose one of the decks into a sun room. Jeff’s innovative ideas made this room into more than just an addition, it became an improvement for the whole upstairs of our home. We faced similar problems with our dock, with equally innovative solutions by Champion. We are very pleased with the outcome of our challenging remodeling projects.”
